About Us

Aboriginal Outfitters is a dynamic, Indigenous-led non-profit (501(c)3) organization dedicated to preserving and revitalizing Indigenous culture while fostering environmental stewardship and community healing. Founded on the principle that protecting the land is synonymous with protecting our people, we work tirelessly to empower Indigenous youth and young adults, and honor ancestral wisdom to build community power and a more resilient community.

Our Mission

To heal Indigenous communities, empower generations through knowledge, nurture land stewardship, and preserve our heritage through storytelling. We are committed to revitalizing cultural connections, fostering wellness, and passing down the wisdom of our ancestors to create a harmonious and resilient future.

Our Vision

We envision a world where Indigenous communities thrive, deeply connected to their cultural roots and the land. We see a future where traditional knowledge guides sustainable practices, where youth are empowered as leaders, and where our rivers and lands are protected as sacred relatives.
